Samsung Frame TV Art for Christmas: Cozy Vintage Sets for Winter, Plus an Easy Gift

Image
If you own a Samsung Frame TV, or you're about to give one, the season changes what you want on the wall. Bright summer gardens start to feel out of place in December. What looks right is warm and low-lit: a camp fire under the pines, dark Dutch flowers, a stream in a shadowed wood. Here is how we would set up Frame TV art for the Christmas season, what to buy if you want it done in five minutes, and how to give Frame TV art as a gift. Our pick: the Complete Frame TV Art Collection ($15). It has all 54 images from our Frame TV sets, sorted into folders by theme, so you can rotate from autumn through winter and into spring without buying anything else. If you only want one mood for the holidays, the Forest Landscape set ($6) is the one we'd choose. A quick note on names: “Frame TV” describes the screen format. Wood Between Studio is an independent studio and isn't connected with Samsung or any TV brand. Our files are plain 3840 x 2160 JPGs, so they also work on any 1...

How to Plan Your Year: A Simple Paper Method for 2027

Image
Planning your year doesn't need an app, a framework or a weekend retreat. A pen, an hour and a few pages will do. Here is a simple paper method that works whether you use our planner or a blank notebook. 1. Look back before you look ahead Write three things that went well this year and three you'd like to change. Keep it short. This is what your plan will answer. 2. Mark the fixed dates On a year-at-a-glance calendar, circle what's already decided: holidays, trips, school breaks, renewals, deadlines. You'll see the busy stretches and the quiet ones before they arrive. 3. Write intentions, not resolutions Under three short headings, write what you want more of, what you want less of, and three goals for the year. Make each goal something you could check at the end of a month. 4. Give every month a job On a plans-by-month page, give each month one or two lines: a project, an event or a habit to focus on. Spreading goals across the year keeps January from carrying all of t...

A 2027 Planner for Men: What Makes a Good One

Image
Most planners on the shelf lean pastel and decorative. A planner for men usually just needs to be clean, sturdy-looking and fast to use. Here is what we put into the Charcoal Edition of our 2027 Weekly Planner, and why. What makes a good planner for men A plain, strong layout. Condensed headings, lines and boxes. No illustrations inside, no stickers. The whole week at a glance. Each week is a two-page spread, Monday start, with real space for each day. Priorities before tasks. Every week has a top-three box next to the to-do list, so the important things don't get buried. Month and year views. A full-page calendar each month, a focus page for bills and dates, and 2027 and 2028 at a glance for planning ahead. A cover that doesn't look like a stationery aisle. The Charcoal Edition uses Hokusai's Storm below Mount Fuji , a classic Japanese woodblock print, on a dark cover. A practical gift For a dad, husband, coworker or anyone who runs a busy week, a dated planner is a g...

The Charcoal Edition carries Katsushika Hokusai's Storm below Mount Fuji (ca. 1830-32). Both paintings are public domain. Inside, the two share the same layout; the Charcoal Edition uses stronger, condensed headings. What's inside a 2027 weekly planner Dated January to December 2027, Monday start. It includes the week of December 28, 2026, so you can start before New Year's Day. 2027 and 2028 year-at-a-glance calendars for long-range dates.
